What: Take in the beauty of Fellows Riverside Gardens this summer with a guided walk led by Lynn Zocolo.

BIRD BANDING WITH AL
When: Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon
What: See live, wild songbirds in the hand and learn why bird banding is an important tool for bird and wildlife conservation.

When: Monday, 6 to 8 p.m.
What: Join us on a site visit to ask questions and learn about growing vegetables. You’ll get personal answers and gain new skills through hands-on demonstrations.

All About Bats!

What: Bats are the world’s only flying mammal. Learn about these unique animals, the places where they can be found, and how people can help to keep many species from becoming endangered.

BLUE MOON HIKE
When: July 31, 8:30 p.m.
What: This evening marks the second full moon, also known as blue moon, in July. Walk the trails to the east end of the nature preserve to see the rising moon. Bring a flashlight, insect repellent, and water.
Registration: Required.
Participants: Best for ages 10 to adult.
