Boardman police kept busy Wednesday and today making arrests

BOARDMAN — Township police made several arrests in separate theft incidents between Wednesday and early today. 

Police arrested Anthony Elder, 45, and Traci White, 46, both of Youngstown, on Wednesday for allegedly stealing items from Marc’s, 7121 Tiffany Boulevard. Elder was arrested at a South Avenue bar after leading officers on a chase. White also was arrested on a warrant out of Trumbull County.

Police arrested Frank Hosey, 34, of Youngstown, on Wednesday for allegedly stealing items from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Canfield Road. Arrested with Hosey was Danita Harris, 24, of Boardman, who faces a receiving stolen property charge. 

Police arrested Lemar Kellie, 16, of Youngstown, on criminal trespassing and felony theft charges for allegedly stealing from a car in the area of Indianola Road near Erie Street on Wednesday. 

Early today, police arrested Vincent Sherman, 22, of Youngstown, for allegedly stealing a cellphone case from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.
