Youngstown city government has new email address

YOUNGSTOWN — The city government email system has gone from a .com to a .gov.

The transition started today.

That means existing emails such as for Mayor John A. McNally will go from mayormcnally@cityofyoungstownoh.com to mayormcnally@youngstownohio.gov.

Both .com and .gov emails will work to communicate with city staff, but the city encourages people to update their address book to use .gov. Over the next few years, the city will phase out the .com domain name.
