Individuals in prostitution case face charges

AUSTINTOWN

Several people arrested in a prostitution case, in which undercover agents with a task force organized by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s office conducted an operation at an area hotel, were arraigned in Mahoning County Area Court here Monday.

Those charged with soliciting prostitution for the Wednesday incident are Constance Adams, 25, of Youngstown; Tara Elkins, 29, of Warren; Ashley Stiles, 24, of Youngstown; Brianna Reno, 21, of Niles; Valerie Stewart, 29, of Girard; Latoya Blackmon, 29, of Warren; and Tracy Barber, information for whom was not immediately available.

Aaron Clark, 27, of Warren is charged with promoting prostitution. Christopher Martin, 23, of Youngstown is charged with child endangering.

Agents also arrested Charles Jaminet, 31, of Boardman, after he purportedly arranged to meet someone he believed to be an underage female to engage in sexual activity. He is charged with importuning, a felony offense, to which he pleaded not guilty Monday.

A release from the AG’s office indicates that two others were arrested, but information for them was not immediately available.

The operation was conducted by officers from the AG’s office, Austintown Police Department, Mahoning County Law Enforcement Task Force, Mahoning County Sheriff’s and Mahoning County Prosecutor’s offices.
