Daigle-Matthews wedding plans are revealed

Emily Kate Daigle and Stephen David Matthews, both of Youngstown, are planning to be married Aug. 15, their parents are announcing.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Barbara and Kenneth Daigle of McDonald, and the prospective groom is the son of Paula and Steve Matthews of Mineral Ridge.

The couple’s marriage will take place in a 4 p.m. ceremony at Girard First United Methodist Church, and a reception will follow at the Maronite Center in Austintown. Invitations have been issued.

Miss Daigle graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in dietetics. She attends Indiana University of Pennsylvania, studying for a master’s degree in food and nutrition. She recently completed IUP’s dietetic internship to become a registered dietitian.

Mr. Matthews graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in information technology and earned a master’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a business and quality analyst for Autosoft in West Middlesex, Pa.
