Columbus woman jailed after violating pool rules

YOUNGSTOWN — A Columbus woman was taken to the Mahoning County jail Monday after reports said she refused to leave North Side pool for violating pool rules.

Police were called to the pool at 602 Tod Lane about 6:45 p.m., after reports that an off duty police officer working pool security tried to get Caprice Hill, 28, to leave and she refused.

Police said she was asked to leave because she was pushing children into the water and did not stop even after being asked to stop several times.

Reports said Hill swore, threatened officers and staff and then pulled away from police who tried to take her into custody. She was also sprayed with pepper spray at some point by the pool manager, reports said.

Hill was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and menacing.
