BREAKING NEWS | Authorities rounding up people accused in heroin ring in city

YOUNGSTOWN — The state attorney general’s office, the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force began rounding up 37 people today who were secretly indicted for their roles in running a heroin ring in the city.

Last week, they were secretly indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury for their roles in the ring on charges ranging from engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity to trafficking in heroin and other charges.

Police began rounding the suspects up today.
