Walker pleads guilty in Rollison slaying

WARREN — TaShawn Walker has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and two gun crimes and was sentenced to 17 years in prison this morning instead of going to trial.

Walker, 27, of Baytown, Texas, killed Richard Rollison IV, 24, of Niles, Oct. 26, 2013, at the Sunoco gas station on West Market Street one week after his brother, Taemarr Walker, 24, was killed by a Warren police officer.

His plea was given before Judge Peter Kontos of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
