Antique tractor show will open

STONEBORO, PA.

The 23rd annual Antique Tractor and Engine Show will take place Thursday through Sunday at the Stoneboro Fairgrounds on Pa. Route 62.

The event includes engine displays, sawmill demonstrations, tractor pulls and food all day, beginning with breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

New this year is a bluegrass music festival in the Mohney Arena at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Admission is $3 Thursday through Saturday (free for children 12 and under) and free Sunday.

Serbian Day Picnic at Holy Trinity

YOUNGSTOWN

The 83rd annual Serbian Day Picnic will take place Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church picnic grounds, 53 Laird Ave., on the West Side.

Traditional foods, including chicken paprikash dinners, lamb and pork roasted on a wood-fire spit, grilled cevapcici (sausages), rice, potato salad, strudel and doughnuts, will be sold. The Tamburitzans will perform from noon to 2 p.m. with an anticipated appearance by Libby Fill. Cleveland Serbs will perform from 3 to 8 p.m. There also will be games and a bounce house for children.
