Civil War history talk set at library

“Ohio’s Role in the Civil War” will be the topic of a presentation by John Haas, manuscripts curator and historian for Ohio History Connection, set for 6:30 p.m. July 27 in the Salem Library’s Quaker Room, 821 E. State St. As an experienced writer, lecturer, blogger and genealogist, Haas has a rich treasury of historic knowledge to share.

Local Civil War history will be included.
