“Tut” (9 p.m., Spike TV): “Tut” is a three-night miniseries that whisks viewers back to the days of the pyramids and recalls the story of Tutankhamun, one of history’s most-extraordinary rulers. Avan Jogia plays the Egyptian pharaoh, and Ben Kingsley is his scheming adviser.

“Raiders, Raptors, and Rebels: BEHIND THE MAGIC OF ILM” (10 P.M., SCIENCE): This look at visual effects powerhouse Industrial Light & Magic includes comments from its founder, George Lucas.

Gallery talk for Rock Gods exhibit

Tony Nicholas, whose photographs are part of the Rock Gods exhibition on display at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St., downtown, will give a gallery talk Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $7 ($5 for Mahoning Valley Historical Society members). The exhibition features photos and images of some of the world’s greatest rock-music idols by Janet Macoska, local rock bands by Nicholas and artistic depictions by Chris Yambar. Series to screen ‘Do the Right Thing’
