Surprise party honors Castros’ 50th milestone

A surprise party June 7 at the Elm Tree in Struthers honored Frank and Janice Castro of Poland in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Their children hosted the event.

The Castros were married in 1965 at St. Lucy Church in Campbell.

The couple have two sons, Frank (Lori) Castro and Mark Castro, all of Poland. Included in the family are two grandchildren, Frank Castro and Jeremy Castro.

Mrs. Castro, the former Janice Rosan, retired in 2011 from Sears in Boardman, where she had worked as a sales associate. Mr. Castro retired in 2007 from Delphi Packard Electric in Warren, where he had worked as a machine repairman.

The Castros are members of St. Luke Church in Boardman.
