The men of Mount Zion Baptist Church, 827 Wilson Ave., will observe their annual Men’s Sunday at 4 p.m. Sunday. The theme is “Approved by God to Achieve Greatness.” Superintendent Melvin Howard will be the guest preacher. Call 330-746-3601.

Men’s Conference set for Aug. 22

YOUNGSTOWN

Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave., will present the 2015 Men’s Conference on Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the theme “Iron Sharpens Iron.” The preacher will be Pastor Gary Frost, vice president of the Midwest Region SBC. Instructors are Pastor Chris McKee, Brother Shon Owens, Elder Terry Swanson and Pastor Michael Harrison Sr.
