City police charge Youngstown woman with multiple crimes
YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested Amber Robertson, 29, of Youngstown, on multiple charges Friday night.
According to a police report, officers stopped Robertson’s vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. She struck a telephone pole after swerving around a parked car when police initiated the stop on Idora Avenue on the South Side at 7:25 p.m. The vehicle she was driving was reported stolen earlier that day.
Robertson did not have a valid driver’s license and also had two warrants for failing to appear on charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and for walking along the roadway instead of the sidewalk.
She told police she also had a crack pipe. She was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, and cited for driving under suspension and for the stop-sign violation. She was taken to the county jail pending a court appearance Monday morning.
