Casino ex-workers, others charged in cheating scams in Ohio

CINCINNATI (AP) — Three former Cincinnati casino workers and others accused in two alleged cheating scams last year have been indicted on felony gambling charges.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission said Friday that a table games supervisor, a former dealer and two others are charged in Hamilton County in a mini baccarat scam. The commission says the alleged scam cost the Cincinnati casino more than $25,000.

A craps dealer and another person were indicted in a different scam in which the dealer allegedly added chips to the other suspect’s bets, costing more than $96,000.

The attorney for the former dealer in the baccarat scam says his client is cooperating with investigators. A message was left for the craps dealer’s attorney. Court records didn’t list attorneys for the others.
