Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

STRUTHERS

A traffic stop on State Street and Walton Avenue Thursday led to two drug-related arrests. A police report states that the vehicle's passenger, Robert Hill, 48, of Struthers had a suspected crack pipe and that the vehicle's driver Charmaine Moore, 34, of Youngstown had trace amounts of a "white powdery substance." Police charged Hill with possession of drug paraphernalia and transferred him to Youngstown where there is an active warrant for his arrest.

Officers released Moore on a 10 percent cash of $2,000 bond. She will be arraigned Wednesday in Struthers Municipal Court for charges of driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia.
