Boardman man awakened by two burglars in his home

Township police are investigating after a Terrace Drive resident reported that he woke up to find two suspects burglarizing his home.

The man told police Thursday morning that he was awakened up by noise, and then found two men, one of whom was armed, in his living room.

The men reportedly got away with a gaming console, controllers and games. One demanded money from the victim while pointing a gun at him.

They then escaped from a window, according to the victim. Police found a plastic crate under a window that they believe was used to get into the house.
