Farris Marketing recently completed marketing projects on behalf of VacQua Industrial Services.

This Youngstown firm specializes in hydro excavating, dry-ice cleaning, industrial vacuuming, water blasting and pressure washing surface cleaning.

Farris designed a new, visually appealing website for VacQua and also created direct-mail materials.

All Farris-designed websites include a mobile-friendly component and are built in such a way that the client is able to make changes to the content.

FirstEnergy Corp. launched a scam and fraud information section on its website to help raise awareness of fraudulent activity and educate utility customers about these threats to their personal safety and security. The new site, available at firstenergycorp.com/scaminfo, describes known scams targeting utility customers and provides tips and resources to help consumers identify fraudulent schemes.

Worker schedules

WASHINGTON

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat of Cleveland, joined his colleagues to reintroduce legislation that would give workers a greater role in setting their hours and help bring more consistency and stability to workers’ schedules.

The Schedules That Work Act would protect workers who ask for a change to their schedule and give an incentive for predictable and stable schedules.
