Comics creators in show at Packard

All American Cards and Comics will host its sixth annual All AmeriCon comic book, toy and art show from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave., with a trio of comic-book professionals as special guests.

Admission is $5.

“All AmeriCon continues to build,” said store owner Greg Bartholomew. “Last year everyone loved the expanded space for the show at Packard Music Hall. We expect to be here at the Pack for years to come.”

All AmeriCon special guests include:

Michael Golden, who is known for his work on “The Micronauts,” as well as co-creating the X-Men character Rogue and Bucky O’Hare.

Renee Witterstaetter a writer, editor, colorist and publisher who has worked on such titles as “She-Hulk,” “X-Files” and the “Conan Saga.”

Darryl Banks, the co-creator of the Kyle Rayner Green Lantern character and the artist on the “Green Lantern” comic for most of the 1990s. He created new looks for many of the title’s stable of characters.

“We know this All AmeriCon will be the biggest one so far with over 75 retailer and artist tables, said Randy Moy, manager of the Boardman location. “I expect attendance to be well over 1,000 people.”

All-American Comics also has a store in Warren.
