Kayti Benedict and Jonathan Miller, both of Pasadena, Texas, are announcing their engagement.

Her parents are Brian and Michelle Benedict and Becky Martin, all of Austintown.

His parents are Joseph and Sherry Miller of Girard.

Invitations will be issued for a 2 p.m. Oct. 17 wedding and reception in Girard.

The bride-elect is employed as a mortgage loan closer at Shell Federal Credit Union in Deer Park, Texas.

Her fianc is attending San Jacinto College and is studying for his operations degree. He is a regional manager for IPR EMS in Houston.
