Free nutrition program for cancer survivors is Wednesday night

YOUNGSTOWN — A free nutrition program for cancer survivors is offered from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Joanie Abdu Serenity Garden, Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, 1044 Belmont Ave.

Dr. Kathy S. Padgitt will discuss “Empowering Cancer Survivors Through Nutrition,” while local farmers from Miller Livestock and Lady Buggs Farm, and wellness professionals from the Downtown Wellness Community will share information for better nutrition and provide healthy foods to sample.
