Trumbull County Commissioners approve new contract with chamber

WARREN — Trumbull County Commissioners today approved a new contract with the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber to continue economic development services in Trumbull County.

The 12-month contract, totaling $23,000, will enable the chamber to continue development efforts throughout the county.

The chamber works to retain and expand local business while attracting new business to the area. The chamber assists companies by identifying suitable properties, securing project incentives and obtaining strategic information.

The chamber’s Trumbull County Economic Development Manager, William Cann, will serve the county’s business community through daily retention and expansion visits as part of the multi-faceted service called for in the contract.
