MILL CREEK PARK | Board to let public discuss any issue at tonight's meeting
CANFIELD — The Mill Creek MetroParks leadership has reversed its decision to limit topics of discussion during public comment at board meetings to current agenda items.
The board of park commissioners will stick with its previous policy of allowing members of the public to sign up to speak, for up to three minutes on any topic, immediately prior to the beginning of board meetings, board president Lou Schiavoni announced at a meeting Monday night.
At a June 30 board meeting, the park leadership announced the planned procedure change, which was supposed to take effect at tonight's meeting.
