Comedian Mike Epps coming to Powers

YOUNGSTOWN — Comedian Mike Epps will perform at Powers Auditorium on Oct. 9. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the DeYor Performing Arts Center box office, 260 W. Federal St., downtown; online at youngstownsymphony.com; and by phone at 330-744-0264.

Epps is the star of the Starz series “Survivor’s Remorse” and recently completed a story arc on the BET series “Being Mary Jane.” He will also play the role of Richard Pryor in an upcoming biographical film on the late comedian.

Opening the show will be comedian Earthquake.
