Ohio choral directors honor Wade Raridon
The Ohio Choral Directors Association has named Dr. Wade Raridon the 2015 Distinguished Service Award Winner.
Raridon taught music at Youngstown State University from 1963 until he retired in 2004. He founded the Dana Chorale and the Dana Madrigal Singers, and he directed and produced numerous choral and madrigal festivals.
Raridon is a past president of OCDA and has adjudicated vocal/choral contests in 12 states. In 2000 he founded the Wade Raridon singers.
