Monday Night Writers to meet

Monday Night Writers will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. July 20 at Peaberry’s Cafe, 4350 Boardman-Canfield Road. Area writers, both published and unpublished, are invited.
Led by professional writer Nancy Christie, author of “Traveling Left Of Center And Other Stories,” the two-hour sessions include a mix of writing exercises, information on the creative and business aspects of writing and group feedback on works-in-progress.
The fee is $10 per class, which includes $5 in Peaberry Bucks for that night only.

Longtime Youngstown resident Dr. Patrick Pacalo, C.P., announces the publication of his new book, “The National Security Insider,” by America Star Books.

Sarah Palin book coming in November
NEW YORK
Sarah Palin has a new book coming out, with a new publisher. Regnery Publishing, a conservative press based in Washington, D.C., announced last wek that it is planning a November release for Palin’s “Sweet Freedom: A Devotional.”
The book, Palin’s fourth, will feature 260 “meditations” that apply “biblical principles” to contemporary issues.
The former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate published her other books, notably the million-selling “Going Rogue,” through HarperCollins.
Her most recent work, “Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas,” came out in 2013.
