Kinsman man, 86, killed in Sunday crash in Trumbull County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash at the intersection of state Route 193 and Bradley Brownlee Road this morning.

The crash occurred at 10:07 a.m. George Ogilbee, 86, of Kinsman was heading southbound on Route 193 while a 63-year-old Cortland woman was driving westbound on Bradley Brownlee Road.

The woman failed to yield from the stop sign striking Ogilbee’s vehicle, which rotated to the right and rolled over to a stop off the left side of the roadway.

Ogilbee was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital where he died because of injuries. The other driver was not injured.

The patrol said safety belts were in use and alcohol was not a factor.
