Failure to use turn signal leads to heroin charge in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN

Police arrested Norman Macias, 41,on a charge of possession of heroin early Sunday morning.

The charge stems from a traffic stop when Macias failed to signal his intent to turn onto Logan Avenue from Lauderdale Avenue at 12:19 a.m.

Police arrested him when they found out his driver's license had been suspended. After searching Macias, police found a plastic bag containing 0.2 grams of heroin. He was cited for driving under suspension and for failure to use a turn signal.

Macias was transported to the Mahoning County jail pending a court appearance this morning
