Ohio Glaciers off to Georgia

The Ohio Glaciers 16U team is competing this weekend in the Perfect Game National Championship in Emerson, Ga.

The Glaciers head into the Perfect Game tournament with a record of 15-4 and are riding a four-game winning streak.

The Glaciers finished the Beast of the East tournament with a record of 6-1.

The Glaciers finished in second place in the Buckeye Classic and participated in the Battle of the Border in Youngstown and the Black Swamp in Bowling Green.

The Glaciers’ coaching staff consists of: Jim Zerilla, former head coach for Louisville; Brett Pitzulo, former coach for Boardman High School; Pat O’Brien, former Youngstown State University pitcher; and Ryan Rovnak, former Ohio Dominican University player.

Players are: Joe DeLucia, Canfield High School; Austin Domer, Orrville; Alex Stobert, Knoch; Steve Kokoski, Lakeview; Joe Machuga, Canfield; Luke Nasonti, Champion; Cole Shinsky, Knoch; Alex Mesaros, North Allegheny; Markus Schlabach, Waynedale; Parker Shannon, Strongsville; Maxx Harpalani, Pine Richland; Nick Labrasca, Dubois; Anthony Vross, Canfield; and Brent Jones, Proctor.
