Miss Tomerlin is engaged to Mr. Thomas

Joyce and Mark Tomerlin and Carol and Gerald Thomas are announcing the engagement of their children, Jennifer Tomerlin and Jeff Thomas. All reside in Niles.

The couple will exchange vows at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Ann Christman Hall in Stambaugh Auditorium, Youngstown. A reception will follow in the Grand Ballroom of Stambaugh. Invitations will be issued for both events.

Miss Tomerlin graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree and earned a master’s degree in education, also from YSU.

She is employed as a financial aid counselor at YSU.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron and a juris doctorate from Capital University Law School.

He is an associate attorney for Delbene, La Polla & Thomas in Warren and maintains a satellite law office in Niles.
