Downtown Youngstown streets closed for jazz and gospel events

YOUNGSTOWN — Because of the Youngstown Jazz Festival, the city’s Central Square on Wick Avenue from Commerce to Boardman streets will be closed from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Also, East Federal Street will be closed between Phelps and Champion streets and Market Street from Commerce to Boardman streets from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday for the 2 Deep Entertainment's gospel music event. The gates open at 1 p.m. with the program lasting from 2 to 9 p.m.
