Child endangering alleged in Boardman

BOARDMAN

A township woman is charged with endangering children after she reportedly left her 4-year-old child home alone.

Police responded to the Appleridge Circle apartment Wednesday night after a neighbor reported that the child left the apartment, told someone that he was home alone and that he was hungry.

Charged is Kaylie Erhart, 28.

Mahoning County Children Services also reported to the scene.

The child was released to the custody of a relative.

Erhart posted bond, and is scheduled to appear in court later today.
