Beatitude House collecting school supplies
YOUNGSTOWN
A collection is under way for back-to-school supplies for disadvantaged children served by Beatitude House.
The children need traditional school supplies but other items such as three-ring binders, flash drives, notecards, book covers, pencil boxes, tissues, hand sanitizer, paper towels, sandwich size and large zip lock baggies, sanitizing wipes, dry erase markers and Play-doh. Wide-rule and college rule notebooks and loose leaf paper also are needed.
Donations of back packs, lunch bags, and gift cards that can be used to purchase school clothing, shoes, socks and underwear are appreciated.
Children range in age from elementary to high school and attend various schools.
Donations may be dropped off at Beatitude House administrative offices, 238 Tod Lane, next to St. Edward Church, or 1370 Tod Ave. NW, Warren. Donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Items are needed by Aug. 3.
By creating homes, providing education and fostering healthy families, Beatitude House helps disadvantaged women with the opportunity to transform their lives. Visit www.beatitudehouse.com.
