Assault of developmentally disabled alleged

An employee at a center for developmentally disabled individuals was put on leave after a report that he assaulted a client, according to a police report.

A supervisor at Beyond Expectations, 590 E. Western Reserve Road, reported Wednesday that an employee witnessed the suspect striking the alleged victim on the arm.

The alleged victim did not have any visible injuries and did not require medical attention, according to the report.

The incident is under investigation.
