Orders being accepted for Smart Choice Food

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice Food at the church with cash, check, money order or Ohio Direction Card from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. to noon Monday.

Orders also will be taken at Niles Community Services, 401 Vienna Ave., from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Monday.

Box choices range in price from $24 to $89 and include meat and vegetables, convenience meals, kids box, breakfast box, variety beef steaks and a skillet-meal box.

There is a special 2.5-pound New York strip box available for $19 with the purchase of any other box.

There are no income restrictions or guidelines.

Online specials at www.smartchoicefood.com can be ordered on the website or at the church.

Mail-in orders will be accepted with payment by postal or bank money order or certified check to New Hope Church.

Payment and mail-in orders must be received by Friday.

Online ordering will close at midnight July 19.

A 3 percent handling fee will be added to all online orders.

Distribution is scheduled for 9 to 10 a.m. July 25.

A community breakfast will be served the same day from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
