FOOD SALES AND DINNERS


THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, one block south of Mahoning Avenue, will host its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The cost is $7 each. Dinners include mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans and a brownie. Also for sale will be pepperoni rolls at a cost of $2 each. On the day of the sale call 330-792-5889 to reserve dinners and/or pepperoni rolls.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7 per dinner. Drive up to the door and someone will take the dinners to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve your dinners. Leave your name, phone number, the number of dinners you want and an approximate time you will arrive. A percentage of the profits is used for local mission projects.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Prices are $7 for adults, $3.50 for children under 12 and $7.25 for carryout. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will serve a chicken pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The menu includes potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, beverage and dessert. The cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children 6 to 12; preschoolers eat for free. Takeouts are available. Call 330-638-5189.

Negley Masonic Lodge, 50873 Richardson Ave., will host an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Takeout orders are available.

St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will offer its second Saturday supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m. It comprises one-half chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, macaroni salad and dessert. Takeouts will be available. The cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children under 12.

SUNDAY

Mount Carmel Society will have its annual kickoff spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at the Mount Carmel Club, 102 Washington St., Lowellville, as its festival begins. Carryouts are available beginning at 11 a.m. The cost is $8 for adults and free for kids 5 and under. For information call 330-360-6133.

TUESDAY

Columbiana First United Methodist Church, 210 S. Main St., will have a drive-through ham dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The meal includes red-skin parsley potatoes, green beans, applesauce and a brownie. A $7 donation is requested.
