Run for Caitlin Inc. awards scholarships

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOr Run for Caitlin Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the memory of Caitlin Yager, who died in a car accident in 2013. The organization was created to provide scholarships to Cardinal Mooney High School students who emulate her Christian and academic values, love of life and service for others. She also was a cross-country runner at Mooney and Marietta College. Yager’s parents, Rich and Carol Yager, and the organization’s officers, Mike Delost and Dr. Greg Delost, met with the six students who were awarded inaugural scholarships of $1,500 toward tuition at Cardinal Mooney.
