Youngstown man indicted in four bank robberies
CLEVELAND
A federal grand jury has indicted a Youngstown man in four bank robberies that occurred this year, the U.S. Attorney said today.
G. Shannon McColor, 27, was indicted on four counts of bank robbery.
Banks McColor allegedly robbed were: Huntington Bank, Boardman, Jan. 9; PNC Bank, Struthers, Feb. 4; Fifth Third Bank, Toledo, Feb. 6; and Chase Bank, Canfield, Feb. 14.
The robberies were investigated by the FBI and Boardman, Struthers, Canfield and Toledo police.
The case is being prosecuted by David M. Toepfer, a Youngstown-based assistant U.S. attorney.
