BINGO/CARD PARTIES

St. Columba Cathedral, 159 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will have a Christmas in July Bingo and Card Party beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday in the church hall. A donation of $6 includes a light lunch. CRAFT SHOWS

Salem Kiwanis will host its 51st Annual Antique and Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 18 at Centennial Park, at the corner of East Pershing Street and Park Avenue. Admission is free. The event will feature food vendors and music. There will be more than 50 auction items, and baskets will be raffled. Dealer and vendor spaces are available. FLEA MARKETS

Friends of Mosquito Lake State Park Inc. has scheduled a flea market to take place rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the beach area, 1439 state Route 305, Cortland. Vendors will be set up along the lake, and the group will provide food and beverages for sale. Vendor spaces are still available; call 330-240-3901 or 330-369-5757. Vendors should take their own tables and canopies. Sign-up will begin at 7 a.m. Electricity is available only for testing of products.

Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and each Tuesday into October, weather permitting. Vendors can set up early in the large spaces, which cost $5 each. Refreshments will be available.

FUNDRAISERS

Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will host a scholarship fundraiser, its annual Reverse Raffle and Dinner, on Oct. 24 at Archangel Michael Hall, 12th Street in Campbell. Tickets cost $60 per person, and the grand prize will be $1,500. The alumni association has awarded $85,000 to date in scholarships to graduating seniors and Campbell Memorial alumni pursuing undergraduate and graduate studies. RAFFLES

St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard, is selling tickets for a raffle of up to $5,000 and a 50-inch flat screen television. It will take place at the Summer Food Taste on Aug.15. Raffle prizes will include a $3,000 second prize and $1,000 third prize. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. For information call the rectory at 330-545-4351.

SALES

Damascus United Methodist Church, 300 Valley Road, is accepting donations of workable and usable items for its rummage sale. The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 7 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 8. Fill a brown paper bag for $4 all day Aug. 7 and until noon Aug. 8. From noon to 1 p.m. fill paper bags for $1. Large items will be priced separately. Drop off items for the sale from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday. No exercise equipment or large upholstered furniture will be accepted. Proceeds will support the missions of Damascus United Methodist Women. A bake sale and lunch bar also will be available.

Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. All jeans and slacks for women and men will be $2.50 during July. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

TRIPS

Trumbull County Travel Club’s next day trip will be a shopping trip July 23 to Canal Fulton, which will include a canal boat ride, glass production studio and dairy. On Aug. 15 there will be a dinner and wine taste on the way to a theater production at Rabbit Run. An Oct. 20-24 motor coach trip to Williamsburg, Va., and Washington, D.C., is planned and filling quickly. The club will travel to Hawaii in 2016 with a stop in San Diego.

WCG Bus Trip, an all-women bus trip to Chicago, is set for July 17, 18 and 19. The cost is $295 per person based on four women per room and includes the bus ride and hotel. It will be sponsored by NSCOG Church of God women’s group. Those interested should call Janie Zitkovic at 330-542-2780 for information.
