Two dogs in Campbell rescued after complaints


CAMPBELL — Officers responded on Friday to complaints of dogs running at large and possible animal cruelty.

According to police report, officers found two dogs running in backyards near 61 Oxford St. Police said they were unable to locate the dog's owner, but that they found an eviction notice and package addressed to someone at the residence.

Police said they have have been dispatched to the residence before concerning dog complaints.

Police transported the dogs to the kennel at the Campbell Police Department and later transferred the dogs to the Animal Charity Humane Society.
