Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God and senior spinning at 9, Piloxing, bingo, painting class, beginner computer class and quilting at 10, and lunch, Red Hatters and advanced computer class at noon; Tuesday, active exercise at 8 a.m., video class: Ancient Technology and pilates/yoga at 9, bingo, quilting, crocheting and Youngstown Women’s Connection at 10, line dancing at 10:30, chair yoga at 11:30, iPad computer class and lunch at noon, quilters, crocheters and SOS trip to Akron Children’s Hospital at 12:30 p.m., car cruise at 5 and Paint and Taste at 6; Wednesday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God and blood pressure checks at 9, intermediate computer class, bingo, quilting and BP Express at 10, senior spinning at 10:30, advanced computer class at 11:30, $3 pizza party at noon and TOPS at 1 p.m.; Thursday, active exercise at 8 a.m., inventions that changed the world at 8:50, wood carving and aerobics at 9, S.O.S. at 9:30, chair yoga, senior center staff meeting, vets helping vets, quilting and crocheting at 10, video class: natural healing at 10:30, knitting at 11, and lunch and grocery bingo at noon; Friday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God, trip to Madison Dog Show and video class: Skeptics American History at 9, bingo, quilting and senior spinning 1 at 10, senior spinning (E) at 10:30 and yoga at 11. Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, announces its next Gathering Place, a senior day event, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 13. Lunch will be provided by Hampton Woods and there will be a speaker from Canfield Joint Fire District. The building is handicap accessible. This is a free community outreach social program offered to all senior citizens the second Monday of each month. Different games and activities are offered each month.

Niles SCOPE Senior Center, 14 E. State St., across from the Niles Police and Fire Safety complex, will offer a free educational Lunch and Learn program for senior citizens at 11:45 a.m. July 13. The topic is “Diabetes Management” and it is offered through Gateway Health, Health Awareness Series. A question and answer session will follow the presentation by a diabetes expert.
