Heckert-Dugan wedding vows set for Sept. 12

Brittany Heckert and Thomas Dugan Jr., both of Akron, are engaged, his parents are announcing.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Dugan Sr. of Youngstown. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Heckert of Mogadore, Ohio.

The couple have planned their wedding for 4 p.m. Sept. 12 at Silver Springs Park in Stow, Ohio. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and for the reception at the Heritage Barn in the park.

Miss Heckert graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a nurse at Akron General Edwin Shaw Rehabilitation Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Mr. Dugan Jr. graduated from Kent State University Police Academy. He works as an installer for AM Door & Supply Co. in North Jackson.
