EPA awards Warren $35,000 for city cleanup

WARREN

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency awarded a $35,000 grant to Warren’s litter cleanups and tire amnesty program.

“Warren has had a long-standing issue with illegal dumping and it’s time for it to stop,” Mayor Doug Franklin said in a statement. “This grant will allow the city and its volunteer partners to clean up problem areas and initiate new liter prevention strategies.”
