A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

June 23

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested Frank Kolesar, 23, of Brookpark Drive, on a charge of criminal trespassing at a home in the 60 block of White Oak Court and also on a charge of disorderly conduct.

June 25

Drug abuse: Police arrested Tyler Rhodes, 21, of Willowbend Drive, on a charge of drug abuse.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Glenn Campbell, 43, of South Portland Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of drug abuse.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Tammy Geraci, 41, of Kincaid Road, Youngstown, on a charge of drug abuse.

June 26

Drugs charges: Police arrested Chance Bixler, 24, of South Raccoon Road, Canfield, on charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Jarrell Gray, 24, of Columbus, on a charge of drug abuse-marijuana.

June 27

Drug abuse: Police arrested Kevin Clinkscale, 29, of Coronado Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of drug abuse-marijuana.

AUSTINTOWN

June 22

Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Unauthorized use: A 2015 Honda Civic was used without authorization. The complaint was made by a resident owner of a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.

Theft: A catalytic converter was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 100 block of Fair Meadow Drive.

Recovered property: A man’s wallet was recovered at Roth Bros., 3847 Crum Road.

Menacing by stalking: Someone was stalking a victim who lives at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

June 23

Assault: An assault was reported at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Aaron Munger, 30, of Artmar Drive, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Theft: A total of $100 was stolen from EconoLodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Criminal damaging: Wires were cut to a motion sensor at a home in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.

Breaking and entering: A vacant house was broken into but nothing was taken in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet was lost or stolen at Casal Aveda Institute, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

June 24

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Michael Taylor, 57, of Meridian Road, on a charge of drug abuse-marijuana.

Fraud: Credit cards were being opened in a woman’s name who lives in the 5000 block of Red Apple Drive.

Fraud: Five unauthorized charges were made on an account at a home in the 200 block of South Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: Household items were taken and damage was done at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

June 25

Lost or stolen property: A man’s wedding band was reported lost or stolen at an unspecified store in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A tailgate with an Ohio license plate was stolen at an unspecified business in the 6000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Lost or stolen property: A dealer plate was lost or stolen at ABC Motor Credit, 4508 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle caused lawn damage at Wedgewood Park, 1671 Lancaster Drive.

June 26

Criminal damaging: Damage to a door was reported at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s window was broken out while parked at a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Counterfeit currency: Five fake $20 bills were passed at Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Two cans of beer were stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Police arrested Lavette Boone, 50, Fruit Street, Youngstown, on a theft charge. Police said is of taking $126 in merchandise from J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Randy Dalton, 33, of Brookside Drive, Hubbard, on a charge of disorderly conduct in the parking lot at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Lost or stolen property: A rear license plate was lost or stolen from a vehicle parked at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: Police said two men took $306 in merchandise from Walmart. They remain at large.

June 27

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Daryus Harrison, 19, of Aris Street, Warren, for a drug offense and possession of marijuana.

Unauthorized use: A woman took her mother’s 2007 Honda Civic without permission from the home in the 3000 block Ayrshire Drive.

Assault: Two females jumped another female in the 60 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Mark Butcher, 18, of Halbert Drive, Youngstown, on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tampering: Police arrested Chase McKinney, 18, of Rhoda Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of tampering with evidence and on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of being in the Mill Creek MetroParks after hours.

June 28

Drug offense: Police arrested Shuv Moreland, 42, of Idora Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of trafficking in cocaine.

Theft: Various items were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at a home in the 60 block of North Raccoon Road.

Theft: Police said four people face charges for a theft at Walmart. Trista Barney, 27, of Glenwood Avenue, Lake Milton, is charged with theft and complicity; Amanda Plain, 20, of Birchview Drive, Ravenna, is charged with complicity; Norman Shuman, 32, of Homewood Avenue, Warren, is charged with complicity; and Kevin Canon, 33, of Homewood Avenue, Warren, is charged with theft. Stolen were a total of $2,074 in computers, and yard equipment June 27, which were not recovered, and two computers, two airbeds, fishing rods and a brew station, which were recovered June 28.

Weapons: Police arrested Ronald Adams,18, of Reta Lane, Boardman, on charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
