The field behind the Saxon Club of Salem was the location of the 4:30 p.m. June 13 wedding of Linda M. Best and Brent Weaver, officiated by Fred Lamb. A reception followed at the Saxon Club.

Her parents are Thomas Best Jr. of Leetonia and Sandra Best of Mansfield, Ohio, and his parents are Ryan and Kathy Stratton of Negley.

After a wedding trip to Kelly’s Island and Put-in-Bay, the couple reside in Columbiana. A trip to Florida is planned for December.

Mrs. Weaver earned a bachelor’s degree in applied science from Youngstown State University. She works as an exercise physiologist for Mercy Health in Youngstown.

Mr. Weaver works as a computer numerical control lathe operator for Nordson XALOY in Boardman.

The bride wore a strapless lace beaded fit-and flare gown.

Malorie Valentine was the bride’s honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Tasha Holenchick; Paige Best, the bride’s sister-in-law; and Emily Hupp, the bride’s cousin.

The groom’s cousin Shaylee Dellinger was the flower girl.

Attendants wore black dresses.

Jake Stratton, the groom’s brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Chad Smith and Tom Best, the bride’s brother.
