Family Farm to open new store

AUSTINTOWN

Family Farm & Home, a specialty retailer of agricultural and home products, will open a new store here in early August.

Family Farm & Home offers merchandise oriented to rural and suburban living, including pet, horse and livestock feeds and accessories, farm supplies, home heating, lawn and garden equipment, hardware, automotive, work clothing and footwear.

The 45,000-square-foot store is at 4477 Mahoning Ave., bringing new business to a building that was last occupied by a local grocery store.

With the opening of the Austintown store, the company will grow to 37 stores.

Vehicle recalls

DETROIT

Several vehicle recalls were announced Friday.

Mitsubishi is recalling about 460,000 cars because the air bags can push sun visors into passengers and cause injuries in a crash.

Acura is recalling about 106,000 sport utility vehicles because an air-conditioner pulley can fall off, creating a hazard for other motorists.

Subaru is recalling some 2015 vehicles to fix a software problem that could cause the automatic braking system to fail.
