Beverly Pfluger and Joseph Vari III exchanged vows May 23 at the Church of the Epiphany in Richmond, Va. Monsignor Thomas Shreve officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the Westin Hotel in Richmond. Invitations have been issued for a brunch July 5 at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Memphis, Tenn.

The parents of the bride are Glen and Yvonne Pfluger of Richmond, and the groom’s parents are Joseph J. II and Janet L. Vari of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Youngstown.

The bride is employed as assistant director of career services at Rhodes College in Memphis.

The groom is employed as a Rhodes College assistant athletic director and head women’s soccer coach.
