Ohio Naturopathic Valley 5K Race and 10 Mile Relay for Autism

5K will benefit Autism Society

The Ohio Naturopathic Wellness Center, led by Dr. Ted Suzelis, N.D. is teaming up with Mahoning Valley businesses to sponsor the third Charity 5K Run/Walk and 10 Mile Relay August 15th to benefit the Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley.

The event will take place at the Mill Creek Metroparks Bikeway – Kirk Road Trailhead at 6700 Kirk Road, in Canfield.

The charity event is seeking additional sponsors to make the event a bigger success and interested businesses are asked to contact the center by July 15. Current sponsors include: Humtown Products, Reflexology with Karen Ann, Melissa Mullane Padgett DDS, Aaris Therapy Group, AllState Insurance, Maui Toys, Healthy Treasures Health Food Store, The Vindicator and Ultima Replenisher.

This year’s event proceeds will go to The Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley and SAFE, Supported and Facilitated Environments – their mission is helping autistic children, teens and their families through Camp FRIEND, monthly social outings, advocacy groups and more.

The event will include a 5K run/walk, a 10-mile relay event and a fun run for children. Participants can register for the events at ValleyAutism5K.com. Prizes will be awarded to the top runners in each age category as well as prizes for the top 10-mile relay team.
