Matthew and Diane Schlatter of Salem, the parents of Samantha Schlatter of Columbus, are announcing the engagement of their daughter and Dustin Williams, son of Gloria Silvis and Kevin Williams of Columbus.

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s wedding, planned for 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park, and for a reception at Drake’s Landing in Canfield.

The bride-elect attended Youngstown State University, Columbus State Community College and Ohio Business College.

She is employed by Andrew Toth, D.D.S., of Dublin, Ohio.

The prospective groom attended Columbus State Community College and Hocking College. He is employed by Flagg, Inc., of Canal Winchester, Ohio.
