Lisa Halko, Justin Cruz are engaged

Lisa Marie Halko and Justin Paul Cruz, both of Wilmington, N.C., are engaged, her parents, Robert and Judy Halko of Canfield, are announcing. He is the son of Karen Cruz of Commerce, Ga.

The couple will be united in marriage in an evening ceremony Oct. 15, 2016, in Columbus, where a dinner reception will follow. Both are by invitation.

The bride-elect obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is a licensed professional counselor in Wilmington, N.C.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UCF. He is a market manager for The Boston Beer Co. in Wilmington, N.C.
